Founded in 2002, Jiuding Radiator is a family-run manufacturer of steel panel radiators, steel column radiators, copper–aluminum composite radiators, designer radiators, and heated towel rails based in Tianjin, China. With over 20 years of experience and EN 442 and GOST compliant manufacturing, we serve residential and commercial heating markets across Europe, Russia, and Central Asia. We are a trusted OEM/ODM partner for distributors and project developers.
Our Name
The Meaning Behind “Jiuding”
01Origin of the Name
The name “Jiuding” (九鼎, “Nine Tripod Cauldrons”) is rooted in ancient Chinese heritage. Legend holds that Yu the Great cast nine bronze ding to symbolize a unified realm. More than cooking vessels, these ding were ceremonial objects used in ancestral rites — emblems of gravity and respect. The character “ding” also carries a sense of grandeur and prosperity. We took “Jiuding” as our name in the hope that the company would stand as steady and enduring as a ding.
02A Word Worth Nine Tripods
The idiom “yī yán jiǔ dǐng” — “a single word weighs as much as nine tripods” — comes from Sima Qian’s Records of the Grand Historian (Western Han dynasty). It describes a promise kept, a word that carries true weight. This is how we approach our products and our customers: taking every commitment seriously and building every product soundly. Integrity is the foundation of our brand, earned over time.
03A Family Legacy
The Jiuding story began with a small postage stamp. The founder’s father was a stamp collector, and a stamp bearing the image of a bronze ding became the inspiration for the brand’s early identity. Since the family founded the business in 2002, that craftsmanship — born of a genuine love for the work — has carried through in our dedication to radiators.
