Canton Fair Phase 2 Is Open: Making Your Booth Visit Count at Area B, 9.1 I22–23

Phase 2 of the 140th Canton Fair opens today, October 23, in Guangzhou, and runs through October 27. For all five days, the JD Radiator sales team is at Area B, Hall 9.1, Booth I22–23 — a different hall from our Phase 1 location, as we flagged in yesterday's note. That post covered where to find us and what is on display. This one is for buyers who are already planning a visit and want a simple question answered: what can actually get done at a radiator booth in thirty minutes?

Treat it as a working meeting, not a browse A fair booth is most useful when it works like a compressed factory meeting. At our stand, that means three things can happen in one sitting. First, **product in hand**: steel panel radiators compliant with EN 442, steel column radiators, and towel rails are there to be picked up and examined — weld seams, coating, bracket fit. Second, **documents on the table**: we bring the Declaration of Performance (DoP) we issue in our own name, the CE marking documentation, and the ISO 9001 certificate we hold, so you can review them line by line with the people who answer for them instead of waiting for an email attachment. If you want a refresher on what to look for, our guide to [reading a DoP](/en/blog/reading-declaration-of-performance-steel-panel-radiators) was written for exactly this. Third, **commercial parameters**: radiator types and dimensions, side or bottom connections, valve options, finish, export packaging, destination port, and the delivery window you need.

Fair week sits at a useful point in the order calendar Late October is not a random date for a fair with heating products in it. Orders specified this week move into production and shipping at the point when many buyers in Europe, Russia, and Central Asia are either closing gaps in the current season or opening the planning round for the next one — the logic we laid out in our [procurement calendar for steel panel radiators](/en/blog/when-to-order-steel-panel-radiators-heating-season-calendar). A booth meeting is the natural place to lock the specification while the samples are in front of you, then let the quotation and the [container planning](/en/blog/40hq-container-loading-steel-panel-radiators) follow in writing right after the fair.

What happens after the handshake A good fair conversation should leave a paper trail. After a booth meeting, the usual sequence is: a written quotation against your specification, the document pack (DoP, the certificates we hold, packaging details), and — where it makes sense — a sample or trial order before volume. Buyers who want to see where the product is made are welcome to arrange a factory visit in Tianjin after the fair: we are a family-run manufacturer, building radiators since 2002, and we would rather show the production line than describe it. If you are at the fair this week and prefer a fixed meeting slot to a walk-by, email us and we will reserve the time.

Following the fair from abroad? Not every importer can be in Guangzhou this week — and nothing on the meeting agenda above actually requires the booth. Send your specification to [lunan@jdradiator.com](mailto:lunan@jdradiator.com) / [kevin@jdradiator.com](mailto:kevin@jdradiator.com), call **+86-22-69189950**, or start at [www.jdradiator.com](https://www.jdradiator.com), and we will run the same sequence by email: documents first, a quotation against your spec, samples if you want them. The fair closes on October 27; the inquiry channel does not.
